I was away for a day to Teluk Intan to be with my partner for the weekend...
Lucky enough, I was tailing a friend of mine from behind as she was heading back Teluk Intan as well...
It was my first time to visit that place...
I quite like the place though, just reminds me of my own hometown...
But Teluk Intan, much more to small town.
So, before we heading back to KL...
We grab our lunch next to the Anson Hotel...
A small stall which run by a Chinese man and a malay lady...
Eventually, it's also next to SMK Convent to be exact.
We ordered Mee Kicap, Mee Jawa and Assam Laksa as our meal...
For their mee kicap, it's definetely something new for me...
It tasted bit like the curry mee and bit spicy with their chili paste...
A nice combination for the noodle though....

As for their Mee Jawa, they used a type of mee which looks bit like spaghetti, different than the usual yellow noodle.

It brought out the taste of the sauce as well as it's not too sticky as the usual we used to had before.
We ordered the assam laksa as our "dessert", just want to try it out....
[caption id="attachment_26" align="alignnone" width="225" caption="Assam Laksa"][/caption]
The soup texture, it's bit like the malay's laksa...
One thing weird is, they instead of serving fish meat, the serve fish cake...
It's not really sourish and of course, not as good as the one in Penang as I can say.
One thing which reminds me when I was a kid that time...
Back in Penang, there's a stall that serve their Lychee drink using shaved ice....
Here, they serve their drink not only using shaved ice, they even serve in bowls...
[caption id="attachment_25" align="alignnone" width="225" caption="Limau ais + assam boi @ Lime Juice with Plum"][/caption]
And I love my Lime Juice with Plum, in another old way!
Besides that, they also served shaved ice desserts...
My partner ordered the strawberry mixed with fruits...
It's bit too sweet and sourish for me... maybe because I don't like strawberry, that's why turn me off?

But, it's good presentation!
I definetely will go back for more!
I now, miss the Mee Kicap so much!
$ - RM12.40
Price Range : Our bill is RM12.40 (not sure how much per plate)
Good For : Good old days, venture into something different
Bad For : It's located at road side, so... It's very hot under the sun!

The Spaghetti Farm, MidValley - Kuala Lumpur
I was walking around in MidValley on last Saturday...
Was looking for something budget yet can full up my starving big tummy for dinner...
While I was looking left and right with much all the restaurants looks same to me, not sure which food should I go for...
I was heading to Kenny's Rogers for their macaroni and cheese...
Till I saw an medium size restaurant, name of "The Spaghetti Farm".
[caption id="attachment_14" align="aligncenter" width="225" caption="The PlaceMat"][/caption]
Since, I didn't try that before or seen it before...
Hence, I went over and came across their bunting with promotion of RM 3.80...
So, I asked the waiter is the promotion still available, he said "Yes"...
GOOD!
Since I'm looking for something cheap to eat... so I gave it a try...
He asked me to choose the PASTA, the SOUP and a SOFT DRINK...
I've ordered a Carbonara with Chicken Ham, Tomato Soup and a Coke...
$ - RM 12!
So.. I was shocked as I thought the set supposed to be RM 3.80...
He said, RM 3.80 is for the soup and drink, pasta separate...
[caption id="attachment_12" align="aligncenter" width="225" caption="Tomato Soup with Coke"][/caption]
If you are the type of person who crave for cheese and creamy pasta...
This is not your place to be...
As, it's quite tasteless and less creamy.
However, for a person who's lactose intolerant like me...
It's pretty good.
Least, after ate it...
I won't feel bloated and nauseous...
I enjoyed.
However, for the soup, it's way too sour to be their tomato soup...
It's quite off for me as I love tomato soup a lot and even sourish items but for their soup, it's NO NO for me...
I had 2 spoon and left untouched.
For RM 12, of course, can't ask much isn't it?
Price Range : RM3 - RM 15 (depends on what you order individually)
Good For : When you are rushing for work yet hungry for pasta
Bad For: Not for cheese lover (not up to your cravings...)

:: Introduction ::
Over here, I would like to focus on my hunts over food in whichever areas, places, states or even countries that I drop by or visit.
So why I name my blog to be se7en sins?
As we know that they stands for; LUST, GLUTTONY, GREED, SLOTH, WRATH, ENVY and PRIDE.
When it comes with food....
We want the best, the greatest, the delicious meal in the whole world...
But, can all delivers it?
Doubt it.
